As part of the ERC workshop on rural growth, being staged at Aston University on 27th February, Gary Bosworth is giving a paper on Community-Led Local Development: LEADER and rural growth. This will explore the potential for the principles of the European LEADER ideology to be implemented more widely along with the risks that the most needy rural areas could be marginalised if territories are enlarged and more urban areas are deemed to offer the greatest potential for economic returns.
